Mima Simington, age 82, of Moose Jaw passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Mima was raised on the family farm in Aylesbury, SK. She attended high school in Craik, SK. After receiving her education at clerical school, Mima worked as a clerk at CFB Moose Jaw. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, sewing, gardening, and her family. Mima was predeceased by her husband Lloyd, son George, father Leonard, mother Frances, father-in-law James, mother-in-law Huldah, brother Delbert, sister Isabel, and son-in-law Gary Gullason. She is survived by her children: Donna of Princeton, BC, James (Margot) of Borden, ON, Kenneth (Linda) of Moose Jaw, SK, Valerie of Moose Jaw, SK, grandchildren: Maureen, Rick, Tim, Jordan, Michael, Kyle, Ryan, Kristy, Christopher, and Lloyd, as well as several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Larry (Eleanor) of Creston, BC and Charlie (Sharon) of Nanaimo, BC. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St. W, Moose Jaw, SK. The interment will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Rosedale Cemetery for family only.
