Obituary of Shirley Wagner
March 5, 1928 - April 14, 2017
Shirley passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2017. Shirley was born in Broadview, Saskatchewan and married John Wagner in October of 1947. Shirley was well known to the Moose Jaw Warriors as a long-time hard working member of the Warrior Booster Club. She missed very few home games and Warrior events in over 30 years. She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Sadie Judd, her husband John, in-laws Jacob and Elizabeth Wagner, her brothers Francis, Lorne, and Lloyd, and by her son Larry. Shirley is survived by her brother Bruce; son Jim (Alaine) and daughters Judy (Fraser) and Debbie (Don), and daughter-in-law Linda; 10 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank her special neighbors Ken and Gloria for all the care and support given to Shirley in the past few months. A private family service was held at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St. W, Moose Jaw, with interment following at Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Shirley's name to the Moose Jaw Warriors Booster Club, 110 1st Ave NW, Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 3L9.
