Obituary of Ross Moore
Ross Frederick Moore of Moose Jaw passed away suddenly, at the age of 73. He was born and raised in Carlyle, SK. In 1977 Ross married Isabel Findlay, and together they had two children Catherine and Patrick. He worked for many years as a surveyor with UMA in Regina and Weyburn. He then spent many happy years farming at Briercrest. Upon his retirement from farming Ross could be found at the Go Fore Golf Club in Mortlach, or fulfilling his role as “Chairman” of the Prairie O Coffee Club. Ross was a good man, husband, father, grandfather, friend and neighbour. He is predeceased by his parents Fred and Lila Moore, and his sister Marlene Woolner. Ross will be sadly missed by his wife, Isabel; his daughter, Catherine (André Albert); his son, Patrick (Davin Kwan); his grandchildren, Stéphane, Genèvieve and Alain; brothers-in-law, Tom Findlay (Mary Dell) and Larry Woolner; nieces, Jill (Jason) and Laura; nephews, Jason (Bobbi Jo), David, Nathan (Jasmine) and their families. A Celebration of Ross’ life will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:30 pm at St. Andrews United Church (60 Athabasca St. E. Moose Jaw). Reverend Jim Tenford and Della Ferguson will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Moose Jaw Food Bank (305 Fairford St. W. Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 1V8).
