Lois Roney of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the age of 83. Lois was born to parents Lorne and Mary Sisson near Armley, SK and grew up on the family farm along with her brother Bill. She was predeceased by her parents, brother and husband Allan. Lois is survived by her children Murray (MaryLee), Debbie (Dave Lind), Larry (Debbie), Bryan (Rhonda), David (Tara) and Michael; grandchildren Terri (Blair), Mark (Ashley), Carey (Mandy), Kelly (Candace), Andrew (Courtney), Blake (Caitlyn), Alexa, Jaimie, Rebecca, Christopher (Desiree), Jaymes and Jake; great-grandchildren Grayden, Luca, Chris, Caleb, Jackson and Bentley, as well as several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Lois was very proud of her family and their accomplishments. She liked nothing better than to have them all together so she could cook a big meal. Her skills in the kitchen were well known among family, friends and neighbours. Lois was passionate about her flower beds and garden and took great pride in her yard. She was still active and tending to yard work as recently as this past fall. She loved watching Saskatchewan Roughrider games and was great at analyzing the performance of players and coaches, whether it was good or bad. She was especially vocal about it if it was a bad game.
